Dayton radio station head departs for Cincinnati

By Robert Riggsbee

Clear Channel Communications Inc.’s Dayton leader Chuck Fredrick left Dayton to take the top spot at Clear Channel Cincinnati.

No new leader for Dayton’s Clear Channel has been named.

Fredrick, former vice president and market manager for the Dayton office, leaves Dayton after just over a year’s tenure here.  In January 2006, Fredrick replaced Karrie Sudbrack, who, at the time, left to take the Cincinnati market manager position.

Sudbrack resigned Feb. 26 to take a position with Cumulus Cincinnati radio stations.

San Antonio-based Clear Channel (NYSE: CCU) is the Dayton area’s largest radio operator with eight stations including WLQT-FM 99.9 and WTUE-FM 104.7.
